Vision

To be the premier organization for promoting the art, science and practice of mechanical engineering throughout the world.

Mission

To promote and enhance the technical competency and professional well-being of our members, and through quality programs and activities in mechanical engineering, better enable its practitioners to contribute to the well-being of humankind.

USC mechanical engineers have the resources to be academically competent, so the student ASME chapter aims to cultivate networking, provide contacts to industry, promote technical competency, and enhance their professionalism. It is a Mecca for engineers to learn and get excited about the field of Mechanical Engineering.

If you would like to become a member of ASME, this link https://www.asmeny.org/MEMBERAPPL/SECURED/HTML/stuindex.htm will take you directly to the student membership application. Come to the meetings! There will be underclassmen, upperclassmen, and your fellow classmen all together to eat, socialize, connect, learn, and have fun.

Meetings and events are constantly in flux, so email Erin Wickstrand to be added to the mailing list and more information will follow.
